We are looking for an Engineering Systems & Stores Manager to work alongside this amazing engineering team within the food manufacturing sector.
Managing preventative maintenance schedules, working collaboratively with the Manufacturing team to plan in required works.
Purchase and manage all engineering spares for the department in accordance with agreed levels.
Create planned maintenance work schedules for the engineers by using the CMMS software
Create reports to show the performance of the department, meets with engineering team to review these
Liaise with the engineering team to ensure they have the information and equipment required to allow them to perform their roles.
Negotiates and obtains best cost quotes for applicable engineering areas and prepares these for approval.
Manages the integration of the work request system and allocation of activities.
Work alongside Chief Engineer regarding ordering of stock and spares for identified engineering needs in the business.
Organises, monitors and maintains service contracts for all machine contracts.
Supporting Facilities Manager ensuring all contractor controls are adhered to.
Controls, allocates, accrues and reports on all engineering spend appropriately (parts and contractors)
Implement the Emaint system and ensure it runs effectively
Collaborates with site H+S Manager to ensure compliance criteria are met.
Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure efficient service of site requirements.
Hours of Work – Monday Friday 45 hours gross per week, hours may be dependant upon the needs of the business.
